The CBC New York team works with our partners, Covenant Mercy Ministry in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. The team operates the daily food pantry services and church services for English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese speaking groups. The team helps pick up all donated food from Trader Joe’s around the city, then sorts, preps, packs, and distributes to attending individuals and families. Our team will get to experience meeting practical and spiritual needs in one of the greatest cities in the United States!
*Participants must be able to walk at least 15,000 steps per day, lift 20 pounds, bend, and navigate narrow stairs. Accommodations do not have elevators or ramps.
