The CBC New York team serves alongside our partner, Covenant Mercy Ministry, in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. The team supports daily food pantry operations and church services for communities that speak English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Team members collect donated food from Trader Joe’s locations throughout the city, then sort, prepare, package, and distribute it to individuals and families in need. This mission trip provides a meaningful opportunity to help meet both practical and spiritual needs in the heart of New York City.
*Participants must be able to walk at least 15,000 steps per day, lift 20 pounds, bend, and navigate narrow stairs. Accommodations do not have elevators or ramps.
