This Thanksgiving, the CBC New York team will serve alongside our partner, Covenant Mercy Ministry, in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. The team will help collect donated food from Trader Joe’s locations throughout the city, then sort, prepare, package, and distribute it to individuals and families in need. Team members will also support church services for English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese speaking communities. This trip offers a meaningful opportunity to share the love of Jesus while helping meet practical and spiritual needs during the Thanksgiving season.
*Participants must be able to walk at least 15,000 steps per day, lift 20 pounds, bend, and navigate narrow stairs. Accommodations do not have elevators or ramps.
