Sri Lanka, also known as the 'Pearl of the Indian Ocean', is a small Island located at the southern tip of India. Our CBC team will work with FAMM (For All Mankind Movement) in bringing the good-news of Jesus Christ to one of the most remote people-groups and places on earth. These short-term mission trips are designed to come alongside indigenous leaders in a way that empowers their future ministry. On the field, teams are divided into groups of three and partnered with a local pastor and translator. Each of these smaller teams spend the day visiting families in their homes, sowing prayer, love, and truth as they go. In the evenings, the teams facilitate Compassion Kit parties in unreached villages where they will share stories, pray for needs, and distribute hygiene boxes called Compassion kits.
**Due to the nature of this trip, participants must be physically able to walk long distances, remain on their feet for extended periods, and comfortably participate in activities that require moderate physical activity.**
