Moldova is a small, landlocked, former Soviet country located between Romania and Ukraine. Known for its rich agricultural tradition Moldova was often called “The Garden of the Soviet Union” until their independence in 1991. Moldova is one of the lower-income countries in Europe, with average wages significantly below those of most European Union countries. Our mission partner is Kishinev Bible Church and we’ll be supporting a church plant team in the southern city of Comrat. We will visit, have fellowship, and provide much needed food to the elderly and less fortunate families. In addition, we will help our mission partner host a Vacation Bible School for area children, and work on a community service project with a group of teenagers.
