Error
Jesus teaches that forgiveness is not about feelings or fairness. It is the decision to cancel a debt. God forgave the unpayable debt of our sin through Christ, and we are called to extend that same mercy to others. When we remember the grace we’ve received, we can release those who have wronged us.
